Ban Grood Arcadia is a great place if you are looking for a relaxing holiday. The entire Ban Grood beach is very empty. The friendly and helpful staff made the stay very pleasant.Great swimming pool - one of the best we saw. Free use of bikes provided by hotel.Ban Krud is not a place for clubbers.We recommend the visit of the beautiful temple Thong Chai.

a very nice place to relax with family and enjoy your holidays! Quiet hotel and friendly staff. free bicycles if you want to go out of the hotel. We came by bus from bangkok, so don t forget to ask for a pick-up when you book this hotel, coz in bankrut there is no taxi!

บรรยากาศดีมาก สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก เช่น สระว่ายน้ำสวย สะอาดดี ลูกๆชอบมาก ห้องพักสะอาดดี ยกเว้นไม่มีลิฟท์ทำให้เดินค่อนข้างเหนื่อย เพราะพักอยู่ชั้น 4 อาหารเช้าค่อนข้างสมบูรณ์ ยกเว้นน่าจะมีข้าวต้มให้บริการด้วยจะดีมากค่ะ แต่โดยรวมก็ประทับใจมากค่ะ

Vi havde en superior Værelse i fire nætter .Værelserne var fine og rene.Der et dejligt pool område ved hotellet.Kun få turister .Hotellet har cykler der står frit til rådighed ,desuden er der gratis liggestole på stranden.Fint hotel til pengene med gode facilliteter og service.Hotellet sørgede for transport fra Bangkok.Ligger i et område med få spisesteder ,og uden butikker.Bedste HilsenerKarin Kjærgaard

Ban Krut is a Paradise where you can relax and there are no salesmen/women on beach. The water is clean, some days wavy and som days not.Baan Grood Arcadia is a nice place with a large pool area but we request more sunbeds and several more sun-umbrellas.Standard room is clean with good beds but very small and no wardrobe only a 2dm long hook to hang clothes on.Internet is free.Bicycles are free to borrow but they are very bad-maintained and rusty. Some pumps in the parkingplaces, a competent bicycle-technician and investment in oil would pay in the long run. Bring your own lamps for both front and back if you want to bike around at night to market or restaurants.There is one shop in the area you can bike to, where to bye bear, cookies and toiletry etc. There are some small restaurants and the best is, with no doubt, The Beach with good food and also music in evenings.We will be back again for 4-5 days for nice relax.

Booked two nights at 1400 baht per night with breakfast throughsawadee website for nights of 3 and 4 jan 2010. Got allocated room 202on second floor.Stayed there again on 4 February 2010 for one night and asked for highfloor room - got room 402 which was on top floor and had sea view.This time we booked through asiarooms and paid 1100 baht per nightwith breakfast.On first stay, found out on arrival that we could have booked sameroom direct for 1200 baht per night.Booked standard room which is in a block at the far end of the propertySeems to be mostly Thais staying in this part westerners are inbungalows near poolGreat deal for large family is three bed villa at 6000 baht specialrate instead of 15000 baht regularStandard Room is small but very clean with ac bathroom tv and small terraceTalked to german couple who are renting a bungalow for 1800 baht pernight for two month stayBreakfast simple but good good choice of Thai food two types of freshfruit two types of cereal freshly cooked eggs toast juice and coffee.Bread, coffee and juice were poor quality though.Great swimming pool - one of the best we saw on two month trip.Free use of bikes provided by hotel.Wifi and shared laptop in reception area free.Warning: beach is dirty in baan krut and locals are not friendly tonon-thais. Also there is a problem with jellyfish so stay in the hotelpool or be careful when you swim.This is one of a series of 18 reviews posted during a two month stay in southern Thailand from Dec 2009 to Feb 2010.

Great place if you are looking for a relaxing holiday. The entire Ban Grood beach is very empty and clean, with big waves. The hotel is located along the central stretch, and is a road away from the beach. The friendly and helpful staff, free use of bicycles and jacuzzi pool made the stay very pleasant. Did I mention about the swimming pool boasting a size that allows for proper swimming (not just dipping)? The spa facilities were not ready (not in operation) during our stay. But that wasn t much of a problem since we filled our days with cycling, swimming, and walks down the beach. Not a place for clubbers.
